About Inferara
Inferara is the team behind Haruno. Before Haruno we built Inference, a programming language and toolchain built around formal specifications and machine-checked reasoning, and public security software that helps developers understand vulnerabilities and security audit reports.
That work taught us that software people rely on has to show its reasoning: clear rules, results that can be reproduced, and limits stated up front. Haruno applies the same discipline to the month-end close. Every finding points to the figures behind it, and nothing is concluded for you.
What we do
We build Haruno, the month-end close for private companies that keep their books in QuickBooks Online. It turns the accounting exports and schedules each company already produces into one ledger per company, runs integrity checks that produce reviewable findings, and prepares a statement package, the reconciliations, a portfolio dashboard and a separate investor report.
Our customers are the people responsible for the monthly financials of private companies: fractional CFOs and the outsourced-CFO and accounting firms that close the month for their clients, and the CFOs and finance teams at VC firms, private equity and institutional managers and family offices that monitor the companies in their portfolio. We set up each workspace with the customer and support it directly, and the judgment calls stay theirs.
For firms that handle especially sensitive information, we arrange private model inference or an on-premises deployment on demand. Whichever path fits, we set it up and support it.

In April 2026, Haruno was recognized at Taiwan's Best AI Awards — a competition focused on AI that solves real, everyday business problems. We're proud to be building something practical, not just impressive.
We entered the competition as Vibe-Checker — that was the earlier name for what is now Haruno.
